Welcome to Irene Estrin One of a Kind Clay

Woven Clay Artwork

The Journey Through Life with Creative Change…( the signature on my pots and my life )

I grew up in Washington Twp, New Jersey and went to school at The University of Rhode Island for Home Ec Education . I always did crafts and art but never organized till I started selling my Stained Glass at the Santa Barbara art show on Cabrillo Blvd in the 90’s.

I got interested in collage and then found my passion with Clay !!
I had assorted jobs from owning a bakery, being a bank teller and a special ed teaching assistant with the SB school district. For 20 years I have been a property manager for a family that I have grown close to and have been able to embrace my passions.

I work with cone 5 clay hand building with pinch pot, stretch and coil work.
I use seed pods and driftwood or other found items for my textures.

My glazed pieces are food, oven and microwave safe.

I thank you for sharing and enjoying with me .
